General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Grows Suspicious of Dex — Will Michael Clear Up the Confusion?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been fairly trusting of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) ever since he brought him on board.

That surprised many fans since Sonny is normally not one to take to a new associate so quickly.

But it seems the don saw something in Dex that he just couldn’t shake — a bit of himself in his younger years, perhaps. Regardless, Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) covert spy soon became like family to Sonny, and he has helped to mold him into the new mob enforcer he desperately needed since Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) untimely demise.

But when Dex slips up soon and gives Sonny reason to suspect all isn’t on the up-and-up, will Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) boyfriend end up in a meat freezer again?

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex’s Faux Pas

Word on the street is Dex is going to make a major misstep that sends up red flags for the boss man. What might he screw up this time that could leave Sonny asking questions?

Whatever it is, we can expect that Dex’s explanation won’t suffice — but that Sonny will let him think he’s bought it, hook, line, and sinker.

Sonny is a big fan of letting people make their own beds before he really puts the skids on whatever they’re up to. If Dex is caught lying to the mobster, he can expect to pay a pretty steep price — and everyone will know it.

GH Spoilers Tease Michael Scrambles

Michael is going to be out of his depth when Dex shares the mistake he has made — and he probably won’t be very happy with him at first either.

After all, Dex was keen on keeping it from Michael that Sonny had been busy setting the stage for a war with his enemies.

That wasn’t a part of the agreement. Dex was supposed to keep Michael abreast of developments — especially one that puts his little sister at risk, too.

Will Michael have the fortitude to put his personal feelings aside and figure out a way to keep Michael out of trouble with the mobster while satisfying his curiosity about why Michael even cares.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly and Michael Step In

It’s not likely that this misstep on Dex’s part is going to require him or Michael to tell Sonny the truth about what they’ve been up to.

However, should that occur, we can expect that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will step in to take the blame before she lets Sonny find out that Michael had been in cahoots with Dex all along.

She can’t let her daughter’s boyfriend pay the price at this point for a job she begged him to sign up for.

Sonny is likely to take it as a compliment that Carly would even involve herself at this point and be concerned enough about him to do so.
