General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny and Anna Share a Common Enemy — But Who Is It?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been racking her brain trying to figure out who could possibly have it in for her so badly that they’d want her dead. Burning her townhome to the ground was a pretty strong message about how they feel about her and the fact that she dodged their bullets at the Metro Court pool, but it’s still unclear whether Anna was the only intended target.

While some viewers have speculated that Alex Marick (Finola Hughes) could be back to take her twin sister down and out, others believe Anna and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have a joint enemy that makes more sense in coming after both of them — Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché).

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Isn’t the Only One Under Attack

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been waffling back and forth between theories ever since shots rang out at the Metro Court pool.

Was Anna the only target, or could someone be after Sonny, too? Soon, it may become clear to all of them that a person targeting Sonny is using Anna as leverage to reach their goals.

This theory would work well if the culprit is Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), since practically anyone could get him to comply if it meant threatening Anna was the alternative.

But rumor has it Valentin is just collateral damage in this plot line and that someone else is pulling the strings.

Could it be that Jerry is back for revenge? His history with the Cassadine family isn’t a short one. Remember that neurotoxin that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) nearly perished because of?

Add to that, his history with Anna was more fickle, after he assisted in faking Robin Scorpio-Drake’s (Kimberly McCullough) death while housing her at Ferncliff away from her devastated family.

General Hospital Spoilers — Valentin Tells a Tale

If Jerry is involved, it’s quite possible that Valentin knows it and is protecting him. Sure, he might be protecting Sonny and Anna at the same time by default, and he may even be protecting his daughter in the process, but his rogue operation leaving all of them flailing in the wind while doing what may be Jerry’s dirty work won’t serve any of them well in the end.

Many fans would like to think Valentin is going to come clean and ask for Anna’s help before he loses her for good, but rumor has it that’s not what’s in store.
