General Hospital Spoilers: Are Dex’s Days In The Mob DONE Now That Sonny Knows The Truth?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is going to be unexpectedly uncomfortable in the days to come. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t take kindly to his right-hand man holding out on him and pretending he wasn’t working for someone else behind Sonny’s back.

The writing is on the wall as far as Sonny can see, although he’ll have to question his own instincts in the week ahead as he tries to make sense of what he almost did. The truth was much more painful to hear than just believing Dex was a traitor.

Finding out that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are too just might be the straw that breaks this family’s back.

What will come of Dex’s career in the organization now that Sonny feels he can’t trust him? Will there be any convincing him to take him back?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos’s Instincts Aren’t So Sharp

Sonny was doubtful when Brick (Stephen A. Smith) continued to come to him with the theory that Dex wasn’t to be trusted.

The truth could be that Brick has known Dex was double-timing Sonny all along, but he needed the right opportunity for the truth to come out so it didn’t look like he was pointing the finger of blame at the don’s new right-hand man.

Sonny had developed a certain affection for Dex after taking him under his wing, and Brick recognized that. However, Sonny struggled to believe the evidence in front of his eyes that Dex was the bad guy.

Despite the payments pointing directly at Dex, his gut told him it was wrong. Still, he followed the paper trail and nearly killed Dex as a result of it — instead of trusting his instincts.

That will hit Sonny hard in the days ahead. Is he not as sharp as he once was? Were Carly and Michael not so off the mark thinking he might need reinforcements?

GH Spoilers – Claim Dex Heller Will Gravel, Sort Of

Dex clearly sided with Michael and Carly — whether he did it for money alone or whether it was more than that for him.

He developed a strong interest in Sonny’s business along the way and wanted to be a part of the mob family.

He wanted to keep Sonny safe, and the money may have just been a perk. But Dex will know that loyalty matters more than anything else to Sonny, and so, trying to get back into his good graces won’t be simple.

When Dex tries to worm his way back into the business, Sonny is likely to be insulted.

Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) never wanted anything to do with Sonny’s business or that dark world as an adult. She had managed to only fall in love with the most innocent of men before Dex came along.

It was a learning experience for her, falling for him, that taught her she really has no control over who she loves. But now that Sonny is giving Dex a way out of the business that could claim his life at any time, she’s likely to pressure him to take that exit strategy as a blessing in disguise.
