The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will have a reason to stay married.

Summer and Kyle seem to be headed for a divorce right now. Kyle moved on and is sleeping with the vixen Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

In the next few months, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) could get out of prison and seek custody of her son, Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

Kyle may realize Harrison should be his priority and focus on repairing his marriage to keep Tara away from his son.

Kyle knows that he will need Summer to keep full custody of Harrison. He must convince the judge that he and Summer are happily married and have a stable home.

He will have to stop seeing Audra to convince the judge that his marriage is solid.

Tara could come into some money. Perhaps, she finds love again with a rich man, or her estranged brother gives her money to get her son back.

The one thing we know will happen, Tara will return soon to claim her son.

Kyle knows he will need to play the part of a devoted family man to win the custody fight. It would be easy to paint Kyle in a bad way right now.

His mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), was charged with murder. Of course, the charges were dropped, but still, it isn’t a good look.

Then his marriage to Summer derailed. He moved on with Audra and left Jabot to work for Newman Media. It’s messy and would not look good in court.

There’s a chance that Summer and Kyle will fall in love again. They might be faking it at first, but could quickly realize they are meant to be together.

If that happens, Audra will take a backseat until Kyle decides to end the relationship altogether.
