General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Will Blame Carly for Drew’s Prison Sentence — Is She Wrong?General Hospital spoilers reveal Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could be furious with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but it’s not going to keep him from going away to prison. But that doesn’t mean she’s not going to take her anger out on someone else for the duration of his sentence. She doesn’t care what kind of problems Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) got herself wrapped up into with the SEC.

She knows that Drew was innocent, and now he’s turned himself in to protect a guilty woman. How is Sam supposed to forgive that when her child, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), it’s going to go without her father for the next three years that he spends in Pentonville? Carly’s guilt won’t be able to make up for that kind of grief. Fans are split on both sides of this debate. Some say Sam is in the right to blame Carly; others say it’s not worth her time because it won’t change anything. After all, this was Drew’s decision to make.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam Won’t Make This Easy on Drew

Drew was hoping he and Sam could find a way to present the news about his departure together to Scout, but Sam was taken aback by the suggestion that they were in this together at all. Can we blame her? Sam is angry that Drew made this decision on his own without consulting her. Will she even be willing to consider the fact that he did the same thing to Carly? Maybe, but that’s not going to change how strongly she feels about Carly not really being good for her ex-husband.

GH Spoilers Tease Carly Tries to Apologize

Carly will apologize profusely to Sam, but it might not get her anywhere. Right now, she is grieving for her little girl. Carly knows what that feels like; her children have been abandoned by their fathers on many occasions. Boy, do these women really know how to pick ‘em. Still, Carly wants to do whatever she can to make this right, but the only thing she can really do is get Drew out of prison. Can Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) pull that out of his hat anytime soon?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam and Carly Get Left Behind

It sounds like Sam and Carly are both getting left behind to deal with the pain of Drew’s unilateral decision. Sure, he’s the one going to prison, and that’s not going to be fun for him. But it’s unlikely that Drew and Carly‘s relationship will weather the three-year hiatus. Moreover, Scout will be a completely different child by the time her father is free to be with her again. During these three years, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will likely grow closer to Scout than Drew is — and Sam may grow to resent him even more. It looks like change is coming. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers so you don’t miss it.
