General Hospital Spoilers: Carly is Comfortable with Drew’s Short Stint at Spring Ridge — But a Two-Year Hiatus May Be Too Much for Their Love Affair
General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wasn’t exactly happy to think about her lover going away to prison for six months, but Spring Ridge isn’t that bad. This would be a short hiatus for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison); he would be home in no time, she told herself. It wasn’t that difficult to digest relative to the alternative — that she goes away for much longer.
A humble man, Drew wasn’t looking for praise, but obviously he would hope that Carly was going to stand beside him through this trial in their relationship. What’s six months, right? Not a big deal — but two years looks a lot different. When the judge tells Drew he’s going to Pentonville instead and won’t see the light of day again until 2025, the whole family will be up in arms. What will this mean for Drew and Carly? Can he still expect her to wait on him? After all, he did all of this for her.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly is Committed
Carly isn’t going to give up on her man just because the system has failed him. Sure, they’re both going to be furious and devastated. Drew will be blindsided by the judge’s sentencing, and Carly is likely to make her opinion known in the courtroom before being silenced or risking being held in contempt.
Maybe that wouldn’t be so bad. At least she might end up scoring some more face time with her lover. Carly will make sure Drew knows this doesn’t change anything between them. She’s not going to walk away just because his extended stay behind bars was, well, further extended.
GH Spoilers Tease Guilt Won’t Keep the Home Fires Burning
Drew may not see things quite as cheerily as Carly does. She gets to stay on the outside — with her children, friends, and family. Drew now has to tell his daughter he’s leaving her — not for six months, but for two years. This isn’t what he bargained for and he’s not so sure he would’ve offered himself up in Carly’s place had he known this was what was coming down the pike. Carly and Drew will both be plagued with questions about what went wrong, but figuring out why the judge was in such a disastrously bad mood that day isn’t likely to undo the damage done. The reality is, Drew isn’t going to be around for a long time, and Carly is going to be alone. She is going to be alone, right?
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny is Soon to Be Single
Fans can’t stop rambling on about the likelihood of a CarSon reunion barreling down the tracks. We know what happens when these paths merge at just the right time. Old sparks fly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could find himself regretting the way he treated his ex-wife when he learns what Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is really about. If Sonny is suddenly single, and Carly is alone and heartbroken, it’s quite possible that they could tame one another’s loneliness. That won’t bode well for Carly’s image but since when does she care what anyone else thinks of her? Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news, updates, and spoilers.
