The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Kyle fails to mention Harrison’s mom whenever he talks about his son. Fans recently noticed that he erased Tara from Harrison’s life. The user Y&R25years asked on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Why does Tara’s name never come up when talking about being a mother to Harrison? I mean here we have Kyle telling Summer she will always be Harrison’s mother and they need to get along but we never even get a sniff of the fact that Tara is not dead but doing a prison sentence.”

The original poster argued that Tara has been in prison longer than Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Tara was sentenced to prison for embezzlement charges. She should at least get a visit from her son while she’s in jail. Some fans think the CBS soap doesn’t make sense when it comes to erasing history.

One fan wrote: “I couldn’t agree more, OP!!!! Tara should be out by now even in real life, yet Phyllis who is a murderer and attempted murderer has not spent one day in prison and we have not seen any community service yet. What a joke.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Tara would’ve served 12 to 18 months in prison. She should be out of jail and back in Genoa City. However, it’s as if the writers erased her from the show. Tara should also have custody of Harrison despite what happened.

This brings up an interesting question. Is Tara even in touch with Harrison? One fan argued that Tara is still in jail and hasn’t interacted with Harrison in years. “Tara is in jail. She is off-screen. Harrison doesn’t visit her, to my knowledge. They haven’t seen each other in years at this point,” the user wrote.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Tara’s name won’t be brought up until the character returns. That’s normally how it goes with soap operas. Some fans argued that it would be pointless to mention jail visits since the show has no intention of bringing Tara back. Others said there are too many references to Summer being Harrison’s mom, which isn’t true.
