The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is convincing himself that he should try to find forgiveness.
His sudden epiphany might appear, on the surface, to have been generated by the mermaid-themed family birthday party that Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) celebrated.
But viewers know that the event was a secondary factor.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) does not know it, but Liam just told Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he has never stopped loving her.
He also said that he regretted ever letting her go, would not make the same mistakes he did in the past, and would protect the children and her from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Liam withheld the above from Hope while they were in the cabin after the birthday party. Viewers knew Hope was withholding potentially life-altering information about the depth of her connection with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) from Liam.
Liam pressed Hope hard. She was stunned that he was aware of her kissing Thomas in Rome, Italy, because Clifton’s character was not expected to leave Los Angeles, California, during the Forrester Creations’ fashion event.
Seeing Hope initiate two kisses with Thomas opened Liam’s eyes wider than they ever were before. His role as the philanderer was well-established.
So, having Hope betray him on that level was something he had no experience in handling.
Hope could not deny what she did, but she tried to shift share the blame with Liam. Noelle’s character tried to convince him that his remnant feelings for Steffy created a constant imbalance in their marriage that eventually broke her spirit.
Thomas sought therapy and is benefiting from it. That first-time move was a radical change in approach to his problems, ending the period where lip service was the only evidence of Thomas claiming to change.
The redemptive Thomas became fully focused on Hope for the Future’s designs. Hope seemingly began to fall in love with Thomas because he committed himself to saving her line, while Liam was urging his wife to cut ties with her lead designer.
Fans took note when Thomas urged Hope not to jeopardize her marriage because of him. He was sincere and that has also proven to be a smart play because Thomas did not manipulate Hope in this storyline.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was shocked to find Hope with Thomas in his bedroom. She ordered her early middle-aged daughter to end her relationship with Thomas and return to Liam.
While that is not how life works, soapy developments soon allowed Hope to believe that her mother’s advice was wise.
Liam also pressed his wife to recognize all they meant to each other and that their children’s welfare topped whatever hurt feelings they had.
However, the depth of Hope’s connection with Thomas is not something Liam knows about. His realization of that recent deepening would dramatically alter his drive toward a reunion. The timing of when that presumed reveal happens will also be critical on B&B.

Liam can't stay away from steffy so the same goes for steffy she runs and tells Liam everything she is so much like Liam ,so put Liam and steffy together forever. We are so tired of steffy and Liam talking to each other about there partners.Find a nice loyal girl for Finn.put Thomas and Hope together with getting pregnant with twins and happy together and no possible way that Liam could ever be the father .Liam will never be loyal to hope,or steffy.
