GH Spoilers: Celebrity Casting News
According to the General Hospital spoilers, there is new celebrity casting news on the horizon. These appearances will take place around the holidays.
The user Kristabell posted this update on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards. John Travolta’s sister Ellen Travolta will resume her role as Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) mom Gloria Cerullo.
Morgan Fairchild will also return to reprise her role of Havin De Haviland from Home and Heart. Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) daughter Lily Anne Harrison will return to play TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis’s (Kristen Vaganos) surrogate Andrea Gates.
Most fans are excited about the first celebrity guest. They’re excited to see John Travolta’s sister return to the show. One fan wrote: “Oh wow! That first one is exciting. I saw the spoiler about Lois’ mom making an appearance. I was wondering if Lois had a mom on canvas in her previous run.”
Another user commented: “I never knew Morgan was on GH. As a child, I recall her on Search for Tomorrow eons ago!”
General Hospital: Mac Scorpio’s Final Appearance
The General Hospital spoilers also revealed Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) final appearance. York revealed that he is battling two forms of cancer.
He received life-saving treatment for both myelodysplastic syndrome and multiple smoldering myeloma. As a result, he will be written off the show as he continues to get treatment.
His final appearances as Mac will take place during the week of November 13. One fan wrote: “Sending John York prayers and hugs. We’ll miss him.” Another fan wondered: “Wonder if the show plans to recast the part of Mac until John is healthy to come back.”
According to the General Hospital spoilers, York isn’t letting his diagnosis get him down. He is staying positive amid this battle. York was diagnosed in late 2022. While he didn’t see this coming, he is doing whatever he can to fight his double cancer diagnosis.
“Over the past many months, I’ve had three bone marrow biopsies, many chemo treatments, so I have another one coming up in a couple of weeks, and I’m closing in on a blood stem cell transplant,” York said back in September. “I believe they found a match, perfect match, which will make me cry. So we’re gonna start our testing and do all that kind of stuff coming up here in about a week. And then I believe the transplant will happen. Fingers crossed in November.”
