General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Reconnects With Elizabeth After Prison Stint

General Hospital spoilers indicate Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) is currently serving a three-year sentence after deciding to take the fall for Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) insider trading disaster. Although Drew no longer believes that he is Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he still seems have some of Jason’s feelings for Carly inside his head. While Jason and Carly were more friends than lovers, they had a connection that no one could come between.

General Hospital Spoilers – Time Served Will Do Drew Some Good!

Perhaps being apart will give Drew a better perspective about his feelings for Carly. He believes that he loves her and that she loves him. But it seems unlikely that these two will ever end up together. While Drew is serving time for Carly’s crime, it seems doubtful she will actually wait for him although she swears she will. Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) always end up together, for better or for worse and that will likely happen once again once Sonny discovers that is was his bride-to-be that tipped the SEC off about Carly’s crimes.

Once Sonny dumps Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), the first person he will turn to is Carly because that’s what he always does. And if Carly and Sonny should reunite where does that leave Drew. He’s given up everything for Carly. Perhaps it’s time Drew reconnect with a woman he once claimed to love. Drew hasn’t spent much time with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) ever since he returned two years ago.

Although they were no longer a couple when Drew disappeared several years ago, Elizabeth and Drew remained very close until that time. While it’s true that Elizabeth kept the fact that Drew was actually Jason from him, that turned out not to be true anyway. Elizabeth’s romance with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) just doesn’t seem to work so perhaps its time for Drew and Elizabeth to reconnect and finally find a bit of happiness together.
