General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) issues a warning after looking into her own musical self. She thinks she’s figured out what “Eddie Maine” (Wally Kurth) only told Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) – Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) rebelling against the controlling Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Tracy is pushing Brook Lynn to become the spitting image of herself, and all his life she’s exerted the same types of control on Ned. It should be obvious to everyone that he’s tired of the Quartermaine control machine, and even Brook Lynn has been pushing-but she doesn’t remember her father as Eddie, only as Ned. Brook Lynn actually didn’t want to go back into Tracy’s tightly defined business persona at Deception Cosmetics, let alone become her corporate spy; but Tracy does things via quid pro quo.

Since Tracy was the one who pulled the strings to get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) reinstated to the PCPD, she blackmailed Brook Lynn to get the trade secrets on “The Deceptor”. If she didn’t then Tracy would tell Chase the truth about how he really got back on the force.

GH Spoilers: Daughter Relates To Father’s Issues

When Ned first came to, he only remembered himself as Eddie Maine but still not remembering things from when he was living as his alter ego-including Brook Lynn’s mother and herself. He remembered his black guitar but nothing about his stage clothes or Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) but he did want to be called “Eddie”, not Ned, and wanted to get away. He didn’t even remember his beloved wife and adopted son, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) but the real reason didn’t hit Brook Lynn at first. Brook Lynn wants to get out from Tracy’s control, and it’s probably the same for her father-music represents freedom and unbridled self-expression for him just like it does for her.

General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Quartermaine Thinks He’s Psychotic

Tracy doesn’t like that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been letting her son stay there, and worse yet, that he’s been “letting him run loose” even though he’s having him followed. Tracy thinks that “Eddie Maine” is a psychosis and always has, and regrets not putting him in a competent sanitarium with competent psychiatrists the minute the truth emerged-from a wedding cake! That was Lois, letting everyone know what she thought of Ned marrying Katherine Bell (Mary Beth Evans) when she found out he was Ned!

Tracy makes her demands known, trying to get a judicial commitment order on Ned when Brook Lynn walks in and hears it. Brook Lynn, like her mother so long ago popping out of that wedding cake, makes her thoughts known, and shouts, leave my dad alone!
