General Hospital Spoilers: Anniversary Special-Sixty Years Of Storytelling And Stars!

General Hospital spoilers and updates announce a glimpse into the primetime anniversary special, “60 Years Of Stars And Storytelling”.

The special will air on ABC Thursday, January 4 2024 at 10:00 pm EST and feature many fan favorites from both the present and the past, and a blooper reel as well!

General Hospital Spoilers: Stars From The Present And The Past

Among the stars from the present and from the past, nearly the entire current cast of General Hospital will be seen, including guest star Stephen A. Smith, who plays Brick.

From the past, confirmed so far are Rick Springfield, who played Dr. Noah Drake, the father of past characters Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and Matt Hunter (Jason Cook).

Amber Tamblyn, who played Emily Quartermaine will also appear, as will more recently recurring star Emma Samms who plays Holly Sutton.

The promo reveals more recent scenes from the past eight years or so, such as the post charity baseball games get-togethers at such venues as Kelly’s after a win.

It also includes many iconic scenes from General Hospital’s past sixty years, with what are shown in the promo only being a sampler.

GH Spoilers: Iconic Lois Cerullo Scenes From The Past

Newer viewers who are just becoming acquainted with Lois Cerullo, played by Rena Sofer, will be treated to scenes such as the recently mentioned kiss on the Brooklyn Bridge.

This was when Lois had married Eddie Maine/Ned Quartermaine in New York, and he’s in a tux and she’s in her wedding dress.

Then the famous scene where she pops out of the birthday cake during Katherine Bell Ashton’s (Mary Beth Evans) birthday party is shown.

Lois shouts “Happy Birthday to Mrs. Ned Ashton, from the other Mrs. Ned Ashton!” Ned didn’t change his last name from Ashton to Quartermaine until many years later-newer viewers might also note the aforementioned Katherine Bell was Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) adoptive aunt.

General Hospital Spoilers: More Iconic Scenes From The Far Past And More Recent

More iconic scenes from the far past as well as the more recent will also be shown. In the promo, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) defends herself against a gun-wielding Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) by throwing a drink in his eyes.

Scenes from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) first wedding are shown, and a livid Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) slapping Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) off her feet.

More recent scenes such as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) challenging Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to a fight and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) warning Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) are also shown.

There will also be many interviews with the present and past cast talking about memories through the years.
