Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will bring home the dirt on Konstantin Melelounis (John Kapelos) after going to Greece.
He and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) have both been suspicious about Konstantin ever since he arrived in Salem.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Konstantin Meleounis Lied About His Relationship With Victor Kiriakis
While in Greece looking for the truth about Konstantin, they found out from several locals that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) loaned Konstantin money to open his restaurant.
Victor had expected the money to be paid back in full, contrary to what Konstantin told Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), which was that Victor had forgiven the loan.
John and Steve also find out that Konstantin and Victor were not good friends; in fact, they were enemies-Steve’s not sure how serious the situation is.
Steve tells everything they found out about Konstantin to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and all Konstantin’s “little white lies” are beginning to add up.
Steve thinks he should tell Maggie about what he and John found out but Kayla’s not sure it’s enough to go on.
DOOL Spoilers: Steve Johnson’s Grifter Radar’s Getting Hits
Steve, as a private investigator and experience in the ISA, says his “grifter radar” is getting hits and doesn’t trust Konstantin in the least.
Steve doesn’t tell Maggie, as Kayla advised but he does compromise and tells Sarah Horton, (Linsey Godfrey) Maggie’s daughter, who tells him how her baby was kidnapped and Konstantin saved her.
Steve thinks that Konstantin could have easily set the whole thing up to make himself out a hero, to impress Maggie.
He lays out his suspicions to Sarah and Kayla about Konstantin’s possible role in Victoria Margaret Horton-Kiriakis’ (uncredited infant) kidnapping, and although his arguments are compelling, they’re not worried.
They just think the older man is charming and is trying to make Maggie happy; but Steve’s unconvinced and takes matters into his own hands.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Steve Johnson Backs Konstantin Meleounis Into A Corner
Steve pressures Konstantin to leave town, or risk his telling Maggie what he’s really up to—pushed into a corner, Konstantin confesses to Maggie before Steve can expose him.
Steve then accuses Konstantin of being involved in baby Victoria’s kidnapping-that it seems too much of a coincidence for a stranger to walk in and snatch her on his watch.
Steve keeps up the pressure, and Konstantin caves and tells him and Maggie who kidnapped the baby, but it may not be enough to satisfy Steve.
By the end of the week Steve and John are in full private eye mode and digging deeper, checking security footage around the park where they believe she was handed off.
Steve and John trust Konstantin about as far as they can throw him!
