Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) will corner Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and try to force a confession out of him.

He knows Steve was there in Aria when his daughter Katerina (Ellie Patrikios) was killed by John Black (Drake Hogestyn) as “The Pawn” and he wants answers.

Every time Konstantin has insinuated anything about Aria, a town in Greece, to Steve, he’s maintained he’s never been there and doesn’t know what Konstantin’s talking about.

But that’s because Steve knows Konstantin is very dangerous and he was trying to protect John-he knew that time and that area was when John was brainwashed.

As Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) assassin, “The Pawn” John wasn’t responsible for any crimes he committed under the brainwashing and doesn’t want him in trouble.

Even worse, he knows Konstantin would be perfectly capable of lethal revenge. Steve has to protect John from paying for things he did as “The Pawn”.

DOOL Spoilers: Konstantin Meleounis Is Not Giving Up

Konstantin knows that John was “The Pawn” for sure now since he reacted to the tarot card and was triggered-that was how Stefano controlled him.

It was the red Pagoda tarot card that contained the brainwashing trigger that would bring “The Pawn” back to life. Konstantin could never forget the look in his daughter’s killer’s eyes right when he took the point-blank shot; it was the same look John gave him.

The first time he saw it Konstantin was chilled to the bone, because it brought back the murder of his daughter that took place in front of him.

“The Pawn” had been sent by Stefano to deliver a deadly message to Konstantin, and his daughter had been his heart and his soul.

Steve is cornered by Konstantin and pressured to make a confession-to admit he remembers “The Pawn” and the young girl he murdered in Aria.

Konstantin already told Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) about Katerina and that she died although he didn’t go into details, but he figures to give them to Steve.

Konstantin thinks Steve will not be able to hide his reactions or his body language when he tells him the narrative, knowing Steve has a daughter of his own.

As Konstantin tells Steve all the details of that fateful meeting in Aria, and how the coldhearted assassin shot his daughter to death in front of his eyes, Steve reacts.
