Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will team up with a surprising partner-Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

The two of them will scheme to force EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) to vacate Gabi DiMera’s (most recently Camila Banus) murder charges!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: History Lesson

After Clyde Weston (James Read) has a meeting with Stefan, Ava gives Stefan a history lesson about EJ’s history of working for Clyde, back years ago.

It wouldn’t fly with acting Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) if she knew about that part of EJ’s history, which he’s basically had scrubbed.

It had still been an issue when EJ first came back to Salem, and before Clyde was imprisoned this last time; one big reason EJ didn’t go back into law practice.

Paulina was hard up for a new District Attorney and EJ seemed the most viable option. But with what Ava tells Stefan about EJ having been involved with Clyde’s drug business, his previous District Attorney stint won’t mean much to Paulina!

DOOL Spoilers: Either You Play, Or You Pay!

Stefan confronts EJ with his past bad behavior, of which he’d heard rumors but just recently had confirmed, although he doesn’t say by whom.

Of course, EJ starts blustering and denying it all, since this all happened before Stefan came to town, and figuring he got it from Clyde.

EJ asks Stefan would he believe a criminal over his own brother-Stefan corrects him, saying “half-brother” and dares him to disprove the allegations-Stefan claims he has proof.

What it boils down to, says Stefan, is either EJ plays, and vacates Gabi’s charges, or he pays, and Stefan goes to Paulina with his proof. Stefan doesn’t think Paulina will be all that forgiving when she’s cracking down on drugs and drug dealers in Salem!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Backup Plan

Even though Stefan thinks he detects a little well-disguised squirm coming from EJ, he and Ava came up with a backup plan, something else they can use.

The plot is complicated and devious, but if executed correctly, they think it’s practically foolproof and will force EJ to do something to save himself which will equate to springing Gabi.

They have everything they need to make the backup plan work, although the physical proof is lacking; but all it takes is reasonable doubt that Gabi’s guilty.

Stefan would rather not have to wait months or years until Gabi comes to trial, but with his and Ava’s backup plan they may not have to. But until they need to use it, they’ll keep trying the blackmail plan on EJ.
