General Hospital Spoilers: As Trina Writes Off Her Anxiety as Paranoia, Portia Reminds Her Spencer is a Cassadine

General Hospital spoilers tease Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) betrayal of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will leave the college co-ed running for her mama. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been right all along apparently, at least about this one thing.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been a threat on many levels, but Trina didn’t think she stood a chance at getting Spencer back into her clutches. Yet, she’s going to find out that Spencer is falling for Esme again — something he never expected either. How is this possible, and what will everyone else have to say about it? Does it matter? Spencer won’t care.

General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Issues Caution

Portia is thrilled that Trina wants to mend fences and get back on track with her mother, but that doesn’t mean they’ll have an easy time of it. She already has strong opinions about Spencer, and Trina knows all about them. She really doesn’t desire to hear them again. Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) warned Portia that she better keep her opinions to herself or she could risk pushing Trina away again, and that is exactly what is going to happen.

GH Spoilers Hint Trina Pulls Back

When Portia speaks up and says too much, Trina is going to bow out. It may not be in any formal way like it was last time where she disconnects from her mom entirely, but she’s going to keep boundaries up that she was hoping to drop down before.

If Portia isn’t going to be accepting of Trina’s relationship, then it’s going to be off-limits to her, and that’s that. As Trina scales back on communication and clearly starts to withhold information about her private life from her mom, Portia is going to notice, but that’s just going to push her to put on even more pressure as she feels out of the loop again on her daughter’s life. What a vicious cycle!

General Hospital Spoilers — Things Come Full Circle

Just like last time when Trina found herself a hostage in Greenland and missing her mama, she’s going to suffer a tragedy and run for home. Trina hasn’t felt the best about Spencer living with his ex-girlfriend, but every time doubts creep into her mind, she reminds herself that there is no way Spencer would ever be interested in Esme again after all she’s done.

Unfortunately, that’s not true, because Esme isn’t the same Esme anymore. The new and improved Esme is a working woman with ambition and goals who wants to be mother of the year. Mothers hold a soft spot in Spencer’s heart given that he grew up not knowing his own. The more he watches Esme in action with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), the more he’s going to fall for Esme 2.0.
