Shawn has believed that he has set a tragic turn of event in motion. Shawn had found out that his father Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) had been brainwashed by Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) to hurt his mother Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).
Shawn had thought that he needed to protect Hope from Bo. Shawn found Bo holding Hope at gunpoint.
Shawn believed that he needed to shoot Bo to keep him from hurting Hope. Shawn found out that Hope had been able to reach Bo.
Shawn was devastated to find out that Bo was in a coma. Shawn knew that his grandfather Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was upset that he had put Bo in a coma.
Victor had been spending time helping Hope to take care of Bo in a secret location. Victor was killed in an unexpected plane crash on his way back to Salem.
Shawn believes that he was the reason that Bo and Victor have been lost. Shawn had been trying to get help from Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to get deal with his grief but he has stopped going to his therapy sessions with Marlena.
Shawn knows that his wife Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) is worried about him.
Shawn has decided that he wants to go back to drinking to deal with his guilt over Bo and Victor.
Days of our Lives Spoilers: Talia Hunter Faces a Crushing Heartbreak
Shawn will find out that Talia is dealing with an unforeseen breakup. Talia had thought that she was going to be able to get into a romantic relationship with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
Talia had gotten close to Chanel because she was helping Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) to get revenge on Chanel and her mother Paulina Price (Jackee Harry).
Talia decided that she would turn on Colin in order to save Chanel and Paulina. Talia had been able to get help from Marlena to realize that she was in an abusive relationship with Colin.
Talia had wanted to get Chanel to forgive her for helping Colin to come after her and Paulina.
Talia was pleasantly surprised that Chanel decided to give her another chance. Talia had wanted to get into a committed relationship with Chanel.
Talia has found out that Chanel has decided that she wants to go back to her ex-husband Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Talia may find that she will turn to drinking to deal with the pain of losing Chanel to Johnny.
