According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) should take full accountability for her actions. Fans are tired of seeing her daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) place the blame on everyone else for her mom’s actions.

Those plans have blown up in her face. Summer was upset when the charges against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) were dropped. She knew that Diane didn’t do anything wrong, but she still wanted to see her go to jail. On top of that, Summer blamed her brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) for getting their mom in trouble since he didn’t want to keep the secret.

Y&R fans argue that Phyllis has no one else to blame but herself. Summer also can’t point the finger at anyone else. Phyllis brought this onto herself when she concocted this revenge plot. She’s the one who came up with this idea since she felt like everyone rejected her.

Phyllis wanted to give everyone a taste of their own medicine. She thought that no one loved her and wanted her around anymore. Yet, this plot went too far. She will eventually have to face the consequences.

The Young and the Restless: Phyllis Destroyed Summer?

According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, Phyllis ended up destroying Summer. Her daughter is responsible for the mess that her mom made. Fans say that Phyllis should be ashamed of herself and turn herself in. This isn’t like her to hide away like this.

Phyllis would be the type of woman who would show up to her funeral and surprise everyone. It’s unclear whether she will come back from this since she hasn’t redeemed herself. Y&R fans think she’s being a “selfish coward” for putting all the responsibility on her daughter.

However, some fans are arguing that Summer is only destroying herself. It’s as if Phyllis is manipulating her. They don’t see Phyllis fessing up to her crime anytime soon. She will only ask for forgiveness when she finds herself in a desperate situation.
