The Young and The Restless Weekly Spoilers Update: Adam Makes A Deal, Nikki Puts Nate On Notice, Sharon Surprised

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 30 tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) makes a deal with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) puts Nate Hastings, Jr (Sean Dominic) on notice, warning him not to get too comfortable as the acting COO of Newman Enterprises.

Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) catches Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) in a moment. It surprises her and forces her to re-examine her relationship with the detective.

Adam asked Phyllis to join the new company as head of IT. He thinks her experience will benefit the company. He makes a misstep by not telling Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Phyllis’ job offer. Even so, Adam defends his decision. Nick eventually agrees that Phyllis would be an excellent addition to the company.

Before Phyllis agrees to Adam’s job, she needs him to do something for her. Something tells us that she plans to ask for Adam’s help to track down Carson, the EMT (Walter Belenky). Adam will likely agree, informing Phyllis that Nick approved her job offer.

Y&R Spoilers: Nikki Newman Puts Nate Hastings On Notice

This isn’t the first time Nikki put Nate on the spot. She decides she must let Nate know his job at Newman Enterprises is temporary. She wants Nick to return to the COO position so that she can work alongside her two children.

Nikki reveals that Nate will never sit in the CEO chair. No one but Newmans’ has ever run the company, and she doesn’t expect Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to change that policy.

Chance has been an excellent friend to Summer. He’s listened to her talk about marriage trouble and tried to get her help finding Phyllis when she was hiding. During the week of July 30, Sharon will catch Summer and Chance having a picnic. It takes her by surprise.

Summer claims they are just friends, and Chance is cheering her up. Sharon wants to believe that but worries that her age difference with Chance will become problematic.
