According to The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) felt jealous of her daughter Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) love life. She keeps striking out. Read on to learn more.

Y&R Spoilers: Drunk Phyllis Hits On Nick

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis hit on Nick Newman (Josh Morrow). She found him sitting alone at the bar at Genoa City Athletic Club.

Phyllis was already drunk but she wanted to have more drinks. She was drowning her sorrows about her one-sided romance with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian).

He confessed to Phyllis that she had feelings for Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). This upset Phyllis, who can’t take a hint. She thought she could easily seduce him, but it didn’t work this time around.

Phyllis got even drunk during that scene. Nick offered to bring her back to her hotel room. This was her chance to hit on him. She tried to get him into bed with her, but he refused.

Instead, Nick had greasy food sent to her room. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Phyllis took that as a sign they were on a date.

She tried numerous times to seduce Nick, but it didn’t work. When he left, she gave him an awkward kiss on the cheek and thanked him for helping her out.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer Glows

Unsurprisingly, Phyllis had a hangover the following day. She arrived early to meet with her daughter, Summer.

However, she was preoccupied with a prior commitment. Summer was having a steamy time with her new boyfriend Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) in their hotel shower.

According to The Young and the Restless spoilers, Summer walked in holding hands with Chance. He was there to meet with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who was talking to her mom.

Phyllis removed her ridiculous sunglasses during their conversation and noticed that Summer glowed.

She realized that something was brewing between Summer and Chance. At first, Summer played it coy but later admitted that they struck up a romance.

She admitted that she was happy with her love life. Phyllis admitted that she was jealous of her daughter’s blossoming romance.

Instead, she could at least try to be happy for her daughter. Some Y&R fans found it strange that Phyllis would be jealous that her daughter is filling her love tank.
