Along with family history, Nikki is hopeful that her granddaughter, Summer, can reconcile with Kyle. So, Nikki warned Audra of Kyle to help facilitate that outcome.

Chance is interested in Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). The bond they formed after Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death developed into a warm friendship.

But Chance’s fondness for Summer developed during the period when he was investigating her mother’s death hoax. That case resolved but Chance and Summer remain chummy.

Summer told Kyle that she has moved on and that the couple appears unlikely to reconcile. She is aware of Chance and Sharon’s newer connection but is not inclined to stay away from him.

Kyle told his parents that he would be willing to return to Jabot but only if he was reinstalled as co-Chief Executive Officer. Jack is unwilling to make that happen.

The audience recognizes Billy’s drive to thwart Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) could result in Jack firing his brother. Assuming Billy is not with Jabot shortly, for whatever reason, implies Kyle’s comeback. That would position him in Summer’s proximity, giving that couple a chance to revive as well on Y&R.
