The Young and the Restless comings and goings tease the return of Lily Winters as Christel Khalil is back to work after her maternity leave.

Christel Khalil Returns To Y&R

Christel Khalil surprised all last summer when she revealed a baby bump on Instagram. She barely spoke of her pregnancy except to say in November that the birth of her baby boy would be any day.

While we don’t know much about Khalil’s new son, we do know that the actress is done with her maternity leave and back on the Y&R set.

She took to Instagram this week to post a photo of herself with co-stars Bryton James who plays her brother Devon Hamilton, along with Eric Braeden who plays The Great Victor Newman.

From the looks of Khalil’s wardrobe, it looks like Lily heads straight back to the boardroom at Chancellor-Winters. What challenges will she encounter when she gets there?

Lily’s About To Get A Shock

Late last fall, Lily suddenly got the news that her daughter Mattie Ashby lost a good friend in a California wildfire while away at college.

Lily rushed out west to be a comfort to Mattie and decided to stay for a while. She thought she could trust her boyfriend Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) not to stray, but Lily apparently trusts the wrong people.

It didn’t take long for Daniel to sleep with his ex Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and declare that he and Lily weren’t that serious anyway.

We are sure Lily begs to differ and will not be happy when she returns to Genoa City and Daniel breaks the news of their breakup.

Will Lily go scorched Earth on Daniel or will she accept that she and her first husband were not meant to be? And, who will pick up the pieces of Lily’s broken heart? Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) is nowhere to be found and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is now involved with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Perhaps Lily will decide she doesn’t need a man for a while and just focus on beating everyone she can in the boardroom rather than taking things to the bedroom.
