Deacon later told Sheila that he is crazy about her. That came after Sheila overheard him talking with the judge who dismissed the charges against her.

Judge Evan Scott (Michael Corbett) represents the height of judicial corruption. He allowed his revealed old friend’s relationship with Sheila to influence his ruling. Making that decision to set Sheila free is irresponsible to the millionth degree.

Judge Scott told Sheila that she would likely not be as fortunate if she ever came to his courtroom in the future. That warning offered no solace to those who sat in stunned disbelief in his chambers.

Sheila did nothing to earn such leniency. Those whom she wronged, most especially her son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and his wife, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), knew they were partially to blame.

They allowed Sheila and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to convince them not to testify to the past, as the judge pointed out.

The audience saw the setup. If anyone ever learns that Corbett’s character allowed himself to be influenced by the love interest of the accused, then his career would be at risk or over.

Deacon has never known anyone like Sheila. As devoted viewers recall, he used to say that she made his blood run cold.

But Sheila was ahead in this love pursuit. She recognized, long before Kanan’s poor soul character did, that they were kindred spirits.

Eventually, Deacon saw the comparison. They were both outcasts who were never given a chance to succeed. Well, he was going to be that person for Sheila, and she loved him for it.

Her tell to Deacon, about no one ever standing up for her like he did with Judge Scott did more than further this storyline. It elevated it to a new level.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Will Sheila Carter Marry This Man?

Sheila behaves differently around Deacon than she has others in the past. Maybe it is maturity or the effects of having nearly killed her son.

Whatever the reason, Sheila is drawn to Deacon and has not turned on him. Hopefully, that is not ahead as Brown’s character has arrived at a relatively new point in her arc on B&B.
