The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Eric Forrester (John McCook) continues to press ahead. He is not in his normal frame of mind due to the death diagnosis Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) provided.

Anyone would be upset if, in this calendar year, arthritis-like symptoms were followed by hand tremors, and then blood began to be coughed up. An obvious serious health issue would be in play.

Eric has not handled his situation well because he believes the end of the fabulous life he created is nearly over. Six months would give him until next spring, at the most.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Donna Logan Has Added Support

Thankfully, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) had RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to commiserate with. She also gained her sister, Katie Logan (Heather Tom), when that character overheard Dr. Colby providing the dire news at the Forrester mansion.

Donna is Eric’s rock. She considers him to be her one true love and is wrecked by the dramatic diagnosis.

Between RJ and Katie, Donna will at least be supported in her quest to help Eric. But his continued desire to prevent his son, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), from learning the truth is taking a heavy toll on those in the know.

The audience recently learned that Ridge does not believe his dad is in touch with today’s fashion consumers. While he respects Eric’s work and always gives the co-founder of Forrester Creations his due, Ridge does not want his dad to interfere with his vision.

But Eric’s presence, as the sole founding member of the company, with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) dying years ago, is not a burden. Yet, that is how Ridge makes Eric feel.

So, no matter what he might believe or say when learning the truth, Ridge is arguably partially responsible for Eric’s stubborn stance. That critique is harsh but one that can be taken.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester’s Secret Exposed In Public?

Having Eric collapse in, on, or around the fashion event is clearly on every viewer’s mind. But that seems too sure a bet.

So, will TPTB present a predictable route, with a gathered crowd of FC’s invited guests witnessing the legendary head of FC pass out, with Ridge learning that way?

A twist climax, where the Fashion Showdown happens without Eric falling would seem more enticing. Viewers would not know what McCook’s lead character’s fate would be at that point in the plot on B&B.
