General Hospital Spoilers: Should Ted King Come Back as Lorenzo Alcazar or Someone New?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the soaps go all out with explosive storytelling and huge surprises during a sweeps month, like we’re in right now. Is it possible the show has a big comeback planned for one of the sudser’s most memorable characters?

General Hospital spoilers: Is Lorenzo Coming Back?

Ted King played Lorenzo Alcazar back in the day in Port Chuck. The actor was most recently seen as Jack Finnegan on CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful.

But the storyline he was brought in for has gone on without him! He played the father of John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) who is now in the biggest crisis of his life. Finn is torn between his two moms, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). But dad Jack is nowhere to be seen and presumably will not return to this blockbuster storyline.

After a recent B&B event that King attended, rumor got out that he and GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini will meet soon.

At this point the rumor is just that, speculation. But you know what they say, where’s there’s smoke, there’s fire!

Lorenzo Alcazar was a marvelous villain and his return to town would be sure to shake things up at a time when the mob scene is in perilous state.

GH spoilers: Will Lorenzo Return to GH?

In 2007 Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) sent Lorenzo packing AND King also played Lorenzo’s twin brother, Luis Alcazar, before his demise. The show has many ways it can run with this red hot story and any one of them would be a winner with fan fave King in the role.

Lorenzo and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could pick up where they left off, which would bring out the alpha male in Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Or, there’s every possibility that King comes back as a new character.

For example, Roger Howarth is now playing Austin-Gatlin-Holt, and he previously played Franco Baldwin. Fans are very forgiving about inconsistencies as long as the plot is fun, exciting and spellbinding.

There is a delicious mystery involving all sorts of shady characters right now, including Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Austin and his hillbilly cousin, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Pikeman, etc. This would be the perfect time to re-introduce Lorenzo as one more loose cannon!
