General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will try to mend a broken bond. Will she insist Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) forgive Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and make up?

General Hospital Spoilers: Back In The Day, They Were A Team

Sasha remembers back in the day when Maxie was trying to keep Bailey Louise Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) safe from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

They were a team, with Brook Lynn pretending pregnancy for a whole nine month period, and Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) all working together. Pretending to be parents to baby Bailey were how Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) became close and fell in love.

Sasha doesn’t blame Brook Lynn for the scandal that got her fired, although she was complicit-but she was being blackmailed by her own grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Sasha is grieved that two women who used to be so close-like family-are torn apart over a manipulated business deal.

GH Spoilers: Mitigating Circumstances

Sasha is grateful to Tracy for keeping her job as the Face of Deception, but she doesn’t like what her manipulations did to her granddaughter and her friendship with Maxie.

She’s in a little bit of a conundrum being between grandmother and granddaughter but she’s trying to be neutral, now that Brook Lynn’s mom is there let her handle that.

What’s important to Sasha isn’t whether Tracy and Brook Lynn get along but how Maxie and Brook Lynn get along, because that kind of bond being broken is a shame.

What Maxie and Brook Lynn had was a bond of friends who are like family, and that is a very precious thing to have. Brook Lynn loved that baby like she really was her own, and it was hard for her to give her back!

General Hospital Spoilers: Can The Two Of Them Give Things A Chance?

Extended family is a wonderful thing to have, and Sasha is thankful that she and Nina reconciled, even if she wasn’t her real daughter.

They had a relationship like a mother and daughter, and she’s grateful they’ve become good friends again. Bailey Lou’s life would be made richer by having Brook Lynn and Chase close again, and Maxie having two close friends like family.

Sasha advocates with both women to try and find a way to repair their close friendship, and Brook Lynn is willing even if she can’t go back and do things differently.

She hopes Maxie will soften towards Brook Lynn, even though the way she went about things hurt her-Brook Lynn, after all, was under duress.
