General Hospital Spoilers suggest Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) think they’re onto something.

Fooling Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) into falling for Scott was their big plan, and at first, Lucy couldn’t believe how well it was working.

She was worried that Scott may have come on too fast and too heavy, but it seems that Tracy took the bait. Of course, Tracy knows what they’re up to and is intent on letting them believe their plan is working while she works to take them down in other ways.

Ultimately, the joke will be on all of them, because this union between Tracy and Scott isn’t going to happen — but it’s not going to be Tracy who stops it.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Big Plan

Lucy knew she could count on Scott to be in her corner when she set out to get her company back. Tracy nailed her to the wall, and Scott is ready to do whatever is necessary to get it back for her.

This speaks volumes about the former couple’s history together. Although Tracy is aware of their plan to convince her to fall for Scott — and marry him — something tells us it’s not going to pan out in the end. But fans might be surprised by why.

GH Spoilers Say It Won’t Be Because Tracy Says No

It makes sense that Scott could try to woo Tracy into giving up what he — or Lucy — wants from her. It doesn’t make much sense that either of them thinks she would relinquish control of anything in the name of lust or love, but who’s counting?

The key part of this storyline is that it won’t be Tracy who balks at the idea of marriage. Although Scott isn’t completely comfortable with the idea, he’d do just about anything for money. We can count on him to see it through. That is, until Lucy changes her mind.

General Hospital Spoilers — Take Two

When Scott pitched the idea of a rekindled romance to Lucy, she couldn’t get out of the room fast enough. Her abrupt “see ya later” left Scott feeling like there was no chance of anything sparking between them again — that is, until Lucy came running to him for help.

She can’t rely on a guy like Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) for things like this. Though little does she know Marty has done his fair share of scheming.

When his house of cards comes tumbling down, it may coincide perfectly with the drumming up of that old feeling between Scott and Lucy as they once again take on a Quartermaine in search of revenge painted as justice.

Rumor has it Scott’s plan to marry Tracy just might succeed — right up to the point that Lucy realizes she can’t let him marry someone else when she’s still in love with him.
