General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Easton’s Thoughts On Finn & Liz’s Staying Power

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that things will continue to get hot and heavy for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) in the near future.

Still, at one point in time, it did seem as if Fiz was going to be a thing of the past. Actor Michael Easton recently caught up with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) and offered his thoughts on the Port Charles super couple.

GH Spoilers: Michael Easton Thought Fiz Was “Done”

Easton tells SOD that he had once thought that Fiz was “done”; however, it’s clear the show’s producers are ready to push the super couple pairing forward. According to the actor, he believes the writers are going “all in” to see what happens.

He adds that this is an “uphill” battle as the Fiz romance has gone through some ups and downs, gaining momentum in the recent past, but then losing it.

He notes that the relationship hit a speedbump when Elizabeth remembered killing Finn’s first and the aftermath of that all. Things got awkward, but it looks like Fiz is willing to move past that.

Still, the actor notes that he has faith in both the GH writers and partner Rebecca Herbst, stating that the writers can “do anything” it just takes some work, and also adding that “Becky will be good”.

GH Spoilers: Trying To Make It A “Good Watch”

Easton tells SOD that he’s hoping Fiz’s second go at love will be as good as their first, with the goal of making it a “good watch”.

Then again, if it’s not, then the writers can pivot to something else. Still, Michael goes on to say, he believes it was time to go “all in” with Fiz. He notes that there’s only so much “will they or won’t they” that a show can do with a potential super couple.

It’s clear the show has placed all their Fiz eggs in one basket, for now, that is. After all, the twosome recently went on a weekend escape and had some pretty steamy scenes together.
