General Hospital Spoilers: Joss is Torn Over Dex’s Career Choice — What Will Happen When Cam Comes Home?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) isn’t one to mince words, especially when it comes to matters concerning her family. So when her boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), decided to keep working for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand man, she wasn’t thrilled with the idea.

Joss and Dex did agree that this job is the best choice for him, and that’s where he wants to be, but she never wanted him to get entangled with her brother and mom this way. When Michael presented Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) plan to have them work together — and undercover — to protect Sonny, Joss wasn’t on board.

Despite her reservations, she ultimately trusted Dex to make his own decisions. It’s clear that this family affair isn’t her cup of tea though. Will Dex’s mob life start to cramp Joss’ style as she comes to realize this isn’t a short-term plan anymore but rather, a long-term lifestyle choice? Things could get tricky when her past comes back to town this summer.

When Joss told Dex she hoped that his role working for Sonny would be less dangerous once he wasn’t betraying Sonny by spying on him anymore, she meant it. That didn’t last long. In walked Michael and Carly with her massive scheme to babysit Sonny and protect him from himself. Of course, Dex is a critical component of that plan.

Over the next few months, Sonny is going to get himself into hot water with a federal contractor, the Pikeman Group. It’s a good thing Carly had the foresight to see this coming, but it’s not a very good thing that Sonny didn’t. We sure hope Dex is cut out for what lies ahead, because if something happens to him, Joss may never forgive her mother or brother.

GH Spoilers Tease Joss May Be Torn Between Two Worlds

There’s also potential that Joss won’t really dig Dex’s new lifestyle when he throws himself into the mob. Thus far, he’s been a little bit more laid-back as he pretended to be Sonny’s enforcer while really working for Michael. But now he’s really working for both of them — and he wants to be, genuinely. The longer that Joss sits with that reality, the more it’s going to make her uncomfortable. This is never what she wanted for herself. She never desired to have her mother’s life. So, when the past comes knocking, she just might embrace it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cameron Webber is Headed Back to Port Charles

And by the past, we mean Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton). When William left for college, so did Cam. Of course, Cam was headed off to play soccer for Stanford in California. Lipton promised he would be back on set over college break, and we would see Cam again soon.

So if he is headed back to Port Charles for the summer, we can expect Joss will bump into him soon at Kelly’s. One thing could lead to another, and we might see that Joss has come to regret the way she treated her lifelong best friend and former beau. Will she ever be able to make peace with what she did to him? Maybe, but her focus on righting her wrongs could land her back in bed with Cam as her new relationship with Dex morphs into something she no longer recognizes.
