General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Connects the Dots with Dr. Montague — But Will Anyone Believe Him?

General Hospital spoilers tease Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has succeeded at getting Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) on board with taking over power of attorney for him and having him committed to Ferncliff.

That was no small feat, but if Cody thinks the hard part is at all behind him, he’s got another thing coming.

It won’t be easy figuring out what Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is up to and how she has managed to get Sasha locked up against her will and remanded to care there without interaction from anyone else on the outside.

But when he realizes Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) is playing a role in Sasha’s care — and recognized him from his beloved high-stakes poker games at The Savoy — he may put two and two together and realize Dr. Montague is the ace in the hole Gladys has been making good use of.

Cody is a light-hearted guy to begin with who enjoys taking a little time off to check out of real life.

So he may jokingly find that a time out in a place like Ferncliff — while not exactly luxurious comfort — is a nice break from the pressures that befall him in everyday life.

Trying to escape the mistakes he’s made by lying to Mac Scoprio (John J. York) about their relationship, and dodging Selina Wu (Lydia Look) at every turn only becomes easier from inside the walls of a place like Ferncliff.

GH Spoilers Claim Cody Links Dr. Montague to Gladys

While it may take a longer stint in the asylum than Cody was planning on entertaining, it won’t be too long before he starts to connect some dots between Dr. Montague and Gladys that he knows he can use to take her town.

What will that mean for Sasha, whose mental health will be left hanging in the balance after the torture she endured at her doctor’s hands?

Moreover, grappling with the truth about what Gladys has done to her could organically send her over the edge.

Cody was already behaving pretty unhinged and struggling to find anyone who would take him seriously about Gladys’ involvement in this scheme to keep Sasha locked up and out of control over her own life.

But now that he’s a mental patient at Ferncliff — and asylum for the criminally insane — he can kiss any chance of convincing the doctors on staff that he’s sane goodbye.
