While Brook Lynn is busy twisting the knife in her friends’ backs at the beauty company, she’ll also be working to keep her secret under wraps from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who has just walked back into her life. But Chase is soon to be the least of her worries when Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) unearths what Brook Lynn is up to and seeks to use it against her.

Brook Lynn is turning on all of her friends at Deception, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) are none the wiser as they warmly welcome her back with open arms. Gladys, on the other hand, is ever the skeptic. It doesn’t make sense that BLQ left the company only to return the next week. When Gladys gets wind of her trading Deception company secrets with Tracy, she’s going to laugh all the way to the bank.

Gladys will be intent to hold it over BLQ’s head that she is engaging in corporate espionage — a crime, not just a nasty thing to do to one’s friends. If Brook Lynn doesn’t want everyone from the police — including Chase — to her gal pals at Deception to learn the truth, she’s going to have to pay up. Brook Lynn may be taken aback by Gladys’ demands, because how could this woman possibly need this much money? Is she just that greedy? Perhaps, but Gladys isn’t so dumb that she’s going to clue Brook Lynn into why she needs the money. That’s none of her business, but she’ll need to pay up — and fast.

Of course, Brook Lynn could fire back that she won’t let Gladys blackmail her. She knows what that feels like as she works hard to compensate for the favor Tracy granted her in getting Chase reinstated with the boys in blue. If Brook Lynn manages to figure out what Gladys is up to and just how much of Sasha’s fortune she has swindled away from her, she could turn the tables on Gladys and tell Sasha the truth.
