Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) will soon get down on one knee to propose to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). With all that is going on in the land of Salem, one must question the reason why. Sure, DiMera is quite fond of Ms. Walker, and their relationship seems to be going well (except for that one night of drugged-biscuit love she shared with her ex and lied about it). But still, why rush to the altar?

Days spoilers hint that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will soon find out Nicole’s expecting. It doesn’t sound that far-fetched that she’ll run to tell someone, and Ms. Walker’s secret will soon be out. With that being said, even Sloan will put two and two together fast and realize that Nicole may not know who the father of her child is. She may help Walker keep this secret hidden, for the time being.

Still, if EJ finds out Nicole is expecting, he may want to do the “honorable” thing and marry her before the baby comes. After all, it’s likely the child is a DiMera, and he may want to “wife up” Nicole before welcoming the little one into the world.

Then again, EJ could propose to Nicole if he’s triggered by sibling rivalry. DOOL spoilers suggest that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will also propose to Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) in the days ahead (pun intended). Added teasers for the week of May 22nd note that Nicole will be “insulted” that her boyfriend has proposed. She may be offended at EJ’s need to compete with Stefan; then again, his proposal may also have to do with DiMera business and that shareholders value a CEO that is hitched.

Added teasers for next week note that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will lie to Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) about Nicole’s secret, so it is likely that EJ’s proposal may not be baby-related.
