Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Victoria’s Running A Fever, Xander Overreacts!

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) discovers baby Victoria Horton Cook (uncast) is running a fever on New Year’s Eve. Sarah, a doctor, is concerned, but Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) practically panics!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Teething Or A Dangerous Virus?

Of course, anyone who watches the news knows there is a potentially dangerous virus, Respiratory Syncytial Virus or RSV, but usually it’s only dangerous to the immunocompromised.

But if Victoria’s only running a low-grade fever, she’s probably only getting her first baby tooth-many teething babies run low grade fevers.

Xander helped raise Mackenzie Horton (Emma, Kate and Miller Kamienski) until the baby swap came out and she had to be returned to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

That baby is now Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) so it’s not Xander’s first baby rodeo. However, it is his first baby and as a new father in that sense, he demands Victoria be seen in the emergency room over a low-grade fever!

DOOL Spoilers: Sarah Horton Doubts It’s Serious, The Fever Is Slight

Sarah is the one who noticed the fever, but since it’s only slight, she plans to give her baby Tylenol and keep an eye on her temperature and other symptoms.

If the symptoms get worse or she starts to cough or sneeze, she’ll certainly get her checked out by a pediatrician, but right now it’s just a 99-degree fever. She can’t see a tooth when she checks, but it may be on its way in, and she’s about the right age now for teething.

Sarah tries not to laugh at Xander in such a tizzy over a teeny tiny temperature, but she gets it-he’s the daddy and he considers himself to be Victoria’s protector.

She’s never seen Xander in such a state, he’s over the top with anxiety over the baby’s little fever!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Xander Cook Doesn’t Want To Leave The Baby’s Side

Even though Xander and Sarah are reconciled, they still haven’t taken the step of moving in together, let alone remarrying.

It’s going very slowly, and coparenting Victoria is a big part of it-but Xander doesn’t want to leave Victoria’s side with the fever ongoing.

He’s absolutely worried to death it will become something serious and deadly, even though Sarah tries to reassure him the worst-case-scenario isn’t happening.

Sarah decides to let him stay with the promise that he’ll try to get some sleep-hoping she’ll get some too, as well as the baby. Sarah’s pretty sure it’s a minor condition and not some rare deadly disease!
