Theresa’s still got feelings for Brady, while heading full speed forward with Alex-for financial reasons, of course-Alex walks in on her all over Brady.
Brady swore he wouldn’t go back with Theresa, and yet, there they are-and he’s not resisting her or telling her no, and they’re startled as Alex shouts, what’s going on here?
Brady apparently is in a weak moment and needing some affection-after all, it’s not unusual for even divorced parents to have a parental bond.
Tate, indeed has some major problems ahead of him down the road-including an arrest, so Brady and Theresa are just getting started with Tate problems!
But for now, Alex has walked in on something he can’t unsee-and that could hamper her eventual marriage to her “made multi-billionaire!”

Theresa tries to explain, Brady having made a very hasty exit-it’s embarrassing when you never want to take an ex-spouse, child’s mother or not, back and are caught kissing her!
He’d have never been caught dead doing this to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) no matter how much he wants Rachel Black (Finlay Rose Slater) back with him.
But, that’s another matter for another courtroom custody battle-and he exits stage left, acting like it wasn’t what it looked like, leaving Theresa to explain things to Alex.
If she wants to marry the Kiriakis heir-she’d better get her act together, and she’d also better make sure no one finds out, especially him, that she forged his mother’s letter.
Thanks to Konstantin Meleounis’ (John Kapelos) insinuations, she’s already had nightmares about that happening.

Theresa asks Alex, hasn’t he ever kissed an old flame or an ex for old time’s sake, even though they weren’t together anymore but still care about each other?
Alex doesn’t have any children-at least he thinks he doesn’t-but things got a little sentimental between the two parents and remembering when “Tater” was a little tot gave them the feels.
Alex isn’t exactly buying it, he’s not sure he can trust Theresa based on her track record with Brady, which Brady’s told him about.
But if there’s anything that Theresa knows, she knows that turning on the tears usually works with any man to cover up a mistake-or even a lie!
She finally convinces Alex that even though he caught her with her red-handed hands all over Brady, she wants to be with him.
