Nicole may gravitate to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). He’s always been a safe place for her, and he’ll feel so bad for all she’s been through, he won’t deny lending her an ear or a shoulder to cry on.

DOOL Spoilers: A Newborn Can Also Place Stress On A Relationship

Eric will have his hands full with his “adopted” new baby (although we all know that it really is his baby)! Still, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) may feel as if she has all her ducks lined up perfectly with being married and a baby creating a real family for her.

Little does she realize the intense amount of stress a newborn can place on a relationship. There’s sleep deprivation, which can take a massive toll on any romance.

Not to mention the fact that the two won’t have any alone time, as taking care of a newborn can be intense and all consuming. Both Eric and Sloan may need a “break” from the baby, and while Ms. Petersen will want a coffee and chat with bestie Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), Eric could find Nicole in his orbit when he’s out and about in Salem; this will ultimately set up an Ericole reunion, if not a one-nighter of passion, at the very least.
