Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is desperate for money-staying in the men’s shelter, as he recently mentioned to Sloan Peterson-Brady (Jessica Serfaty).

Leo decides what he needs to do is get his Lady Whistleblower column back and makes a desperate pitch to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Broker Than Broke!

Leo’s column was quite successful until Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) took over as editor and fired him and took out the column.

But now that Chad has bought out Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) half Chad can overrule Everett, as his boss.

Leo is “broker than broke” as the saying goes, not having any money to spare and living in a men’s shelter over Christmas holiday and had leaned on Sloan for payment.

But Sloan was not going to give into his blackmail, even though he knows the truth about baby Jude Brady (uncredited) being Nicole DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker). So that means Leo needs his column back, and post haste at that!

Even though Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is also involved in the paper, Leo knows that Chad knows what the numbers were on the column.

Chad hopefully has gotten past when Leo spread some serious gossip about him, which he didn’t like so well when Leo first was writing the column.

Lady Whistleblower was a very popular column and really brought the Salem Spectator back after Gwen forced Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Matthew Ashford, Cady McClain) to give it to her.

It made a lot of money for the Spectator and that moneymaker potential is what Leo’s banking on to get his job back; how can Chad deny the moneymaking potential? People would read it just for his gossip column if for no other reason, and that’s a huge thing.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad DiMera’s A Hard Sell

Leo had no idea what a hard sell Chad would be when he first decided to ask for his Lady Whistleblower job back, unfortunately not being successful.

That man is stubborn and unforgiving, he is still holding Leo’s early dirty gossip reporting against him when it’s been well over a year ago and besides,

Chad doesn’t like Leo! It looks like Leo is back to square one and turning over expenses to Sloan to reimburse, a plan she didn’t want to go for to begin with.

But Leo keeps reminding her that her world could fall apart at his discretion, all he has to do is tell the right person the truth about Baby Jude. Since EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) wouldn’t believe him, Leo thinks the right person would be Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)!
