Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) railroading Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) over a personal vendetta, holding Tate’s parents’ pasts against them.

Tate’s grandfather, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) considers bringing up EJ’s drug dealing past to discredit him; John knows about EJ’s past, when he was married to Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ DiMera Was Shot When Confronting Clyde Weston

EJ was shot in a confrontation with Clyde but it was over his drug territory; EJ might pretend to be a squeaky clean law and order guy but he’s not.

At the time, he was Clyde’s rival mobster and he took the first shot, his disloyal bodyguard Miguel Garcia (Phllip Anthony Rodriguez), who was Clyde’s plant shot EJ. EJ was trying to hit Clyde-which is why it was such a problem for EJ when Clyde was still out on the street.

Once Clyde was behind bars for the murder of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) it was a relief, but now everyone wishes Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) had killed him!

Chad had to be held back from finishing Clyde off once it was revealed Clyde was her killer.

DOOL Spoilers: Fighting Fire With Fire

John is absolutely livid with EJ, as Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) are for charging Tate as an adult and housing him in the jail-he’s been beaten.

John feels that EJ is making this a personal vendetta, calling Tate the drug using son of two drug users-Brady and Theresa’s drug use is way in their past.

EJ acts like he thinks he’s perfect and has never done any wrong-well, John knows he’s done plenty and he plans to expose it.

EJ has no business being a district attorney because of his own past-thanks to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) raising him he grew up corrupt. If his mother,

Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) knew about this he’s pretty sure she’d be upset about it-you don’t put a teenager in with grown men and make him an example.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: If Paulina Price Knew-She’d Have Made A Different Decision

If Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) had known about EJ’s past with being a rival mobster to Clyde, she’d have made a different decision, perhaps appointing Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) instead. Melinda Trask, (Tina Huang) as power obsessed as she was as District Attorney, never would have done something like this, making an example of a scared teenage boy and railroading him.

John plans to do an expose on EJ’s past, focusing in on his mobster days and bring it before Paulina to see if she can get the case thrown out.

He wants Holly to survive and the real perpetrator caught and punished as much as anyone. But focusing in on the wrong person isn’t going to solve anything.
