Li Shin arrived with an ax to grind, a ruthless, but devastatingly handsome, business mogul. As such, his personal and professional life was always a train wreck.

Li fell hard for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and she would prove to be his downfall. Initially he had a hand in Dr. Rolf brainwashing Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) to love Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and not Gabi, thus clearing the path to true love.

DOOL Spoilers: Li Has Left the Building

Li tried to do good down the line, but his redemption didn’t stick. In the end he told Marlena Evans that he was obsessed with Gabi due to the past trauma of being dumped by his high school crush. He lied about being ok with his revelation but later brandished a knife while thinking of Gabi.
